    Some of the finest products can be found right in our very own backyard; to celebrate this, we host Minnesota Mondays! If it's made in the Land of 10,000 Lakes, you can enjoy it for only $4.00 every Monday! Bent Paddle, Duluth Cider, Vikre Gin, Castle Danger, Revel Stoke, Surly, Nordeast, and UV just to name a few! We will keep on adding the best products from this great state, so check back often...or, if you have a product you think we should offer, let us know!

  • Trivia Night at LSZoo

    Join us for Trivia Night at the Zoo, happening the second Wednesday of every month inside the Porcupine Pub at Lake Superior Zoo. Each night features a mix of animal-inspired questions alongside general trivia pulled from headlines, pop culture, sports, history and more - so whether you’re a wildlife whiz or a well-rounded know-it-all, there’s something for everyone.
     
    5PM - Porcupine Pub Opens
    5:50PM - Register your Team of up to 6 people
    6PM - Trivia starts
    7:30PM - Trivia wraps/Prizes/Last Call for Alcohol!
     
    Fuel your trivia prowess with local favorites from Bent Paddle, Earth Rider, Wild State Cider, and more. Grab a warm pretzel, a slice of pizza, or a variety of pub snacks, settle in, and get ready for the wildest trivia night in town.
     
    This is a 21+ event, and the Porcupine Pub is the only area of the zoo open during trivia night. With adult beverages flowing and questions that may wander into mature territory, this evening is best enjoyed by grown-ups looking for a smart, social night out.
  • EDM night at Aces on First!

    Every Thursday night is EDM night  at Aces on First! Featuring a continually changing lineup of Dj’s and genres. Music starts at 10pm and goes until 2am. Drink specials and good vibes!

  • Luminary Walk at Lake Superior Zoo
    Friday, February 13 05:00 PM
    Walk through the Zoo, lit with 1,000 glowing ice luminaries! Experience a magical winter evening as you stroll candlelit paths surrounded by the beauty of the season. Warm up along the way with festive beverages from the Porcupine Pub, relax in cozy gathering spaces, and soak in the golden glow of a thousand lights.

    Possible experiences include:
    North American River Otters (Logan & Brule) – Tong-feed fish, view indoor spaces, and watch a short training demo
    Sand Cats & Fossa – Feed Tony & Pumpkin, tour Koto’s behind-the-scenes areas, and provide enrichment
    Sloth Feeding Experience – Feed Georgie the two-toed sloth and Bam Bam the yellow-billed hornbill
     
    Food & Drink Add-On (Available February 13 & 14 only)
    Enjoy a charcuterie board and a bottle of chilled prosecco, perfect for sharing with up to six guests.
     
     Whether you’re looking for a peaceful winter stroll, an up-close animal encounter, or a cozy night out, the Luminary Walk lets you create your perfect evening.
